We decluttered this living room of extra couch which cut off the traffic flow into the room and swapped it into the family room for a cleaner look. The extra bean bag chairs were removed and the bright blue artwork orginally behind the couch now houses a more neutral contemporary painting borrowed from the dining room. Keeping it simple and minimal shows the space off more.
The family room once had a large blue sofa and oversized blue chair and was replaced with the neutral green couch from living room. We removed those and the area rug, which hid the great hardwoods and was too taste specific in the room. A little more decluttering the fireplace now becomes the focal point in this room.
